Took the usual annual break from Saturday cycling to watch the North West. Best racing for years, decent weather and huge crowds. Hard to get a decent slot to get some pictures. Here’s the best of what I got.

It wasn’t quite cycling but it was still on two wheels. This past weekend we hit the North Coast with the camera in toe to watch Ireland’s biggest sporting event the North West 200. They said it would rain but the rain kept away, the sun stayed out and the crowds were in the hundreds of thousands as we were treated to another classic days racing.

Not wanting to stick with cycling totally, we where at the Ulster Grand Prix motorbike racing on Saturday and Eric got some cracking photos of the action. The weather held up right through until the final race and the man of the day was Guy Martin who took four wins and a second place in his five starts.
