An excellent evening’s racing in Newtownards last night, with in-form Adam Pertie-Armstrong taking the main race in a sprint from Glen Kinning. These two were well clear of the rest of the bunch. The annual coastal challenge taking in a 60 mile circuit of the Ards Peninsula took place today in excellent conditions. 700 riders (+-100) took part in the event organised annually by Mickey Forbes. He has raised many thousands of pounds for charity and turned this event into the 3rd biggest mass participation event in Ireland. Well done to Mickey.
